This digital satellite finder, is locked to the VAST satellite signal that is being transmitter from the Optus C1 satellite. The digital satellite receiver has a built in battery to power the LNB on the portable satellite dish, without the need of the receiver to power the LNB. This makes it easy to find a good location for the portable satellite dish, and also is a good fault finding tool if there is a problem with the VAST satellite receiver or cable fault.
